Natalya Weinstein
Natalya Zoe Weinstein is an accomplished violinist/fiddler and teacher in a variety of styles such as old-time, bluegrass and klezmer. She resides in Fairview, NC, and performs with her husband, John Cloyd Miller in Zoe & Cloyd. Natalya trained classically in her home state of Massachusetts before moving to Asheville in 2004. Her father is a master jazz pianist and her grandfather was a professional klezmer musician. Natalya is a champion fiddler, as well as an instructor in the traditional music program at Warren Wilson College. She has an MA in Appalachian Studies from Appalachian State University.
Darol Anger
Fiddler Darol Anger has helped drive the evolution of contemporary violin, leading and performing with numerous path-breaking ensembles such as Mr Sun, Republic Of Strings, the Turtle Island String Quartet, the David Grisman Quintet, The Duo, and Psychograss, among others. Composing and performing internationally since 1977, he has produced scores of important recordings and is considered one of the most influential fiddlers of the last fifty years. He is professor emeritus at Berklee College of Music, tours with his band Mr Sun, and operates an online fiddle school at ArtistWorks.com.
